Did you know that Trier is the oldest city of Germany? Here you’ll find lots of Roman ruins and monuments, such as an amphitheater, a gate and some thermal baths. But my favorite sight was this one, the Kurfürstliches Palais (Electoral Palace). This beautiful building has a mix of three architectural styles: Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo. Once home to the Archbishops and Electors of Trier, it now houses several government offices and also serves as a venue for classical music concerts 🎼

How is it to travel to Portugal in October? I went there last week to visit my family, and I experienced it all: from sunny, almost summerlike days, to rainy sweater weather, and vibrant fall colors. Overall, the temperatures were very pleasant, from 17 to 21 degrees Celsius (that’s in the 60ies for my Fahrenheit people). And this was in the north, the coldest region of the country. The further south you go, the warmer it gets ☀️🍁

Officially Master of Arts now 👩🏽‍🎓 I graduated from my masters in Writing & Translation in July, but I had to wait until October to obtain my diploma at the graduation ceremony. I’m extremely proud of this moment, especially when I compare myself now with the girl I was when I graduated from my bachelors. I wish I could go back to that girl and give her a big hug, tell her to not be afraid of the future, that her skills and talents matter, and that she will be able to make a living by doing something that she loves ❤️
